VOIP telephony

VOIP technology (Voice over Internet Protocol) is an internet-based telephone service. Calls are delivered over the internet rather than the traditional legacy technology of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) or Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN).

Many schools have already taken the leap to cloud-based VOIP Services, taking advantage of the long-term cost savings and increased flexibility. Regardless of where you are working you can make and receive calls using a registered handset a PC/laptop or mobile phone. What's more, they can be recorded for safeguarding and training purposes.

Safeguarding features

Calls made outside the school via laptops and the mobile app can be recorded for safeguarding and training purposes. An in-built paging system allows emergency/important messages to be broadcasted to all phones across the school. This is a great feature for sending alerts regarding Covid, and other safeguarding and security measures.
