I was introduced to Computer Talk as a reliable re-seller for Ericom Software. I was very impressed with their knowledge of Ericom products and their sound understanding of school IT systems. I chose to work with them to implement a Microsoft Data Protection Manager Backup and Disaster Recovery solution into Sawston Village College to replace our insufficient tape drive system. The new system was installed very quickly and smoothly, and we were up and running with whole system backups within a few days. The system works really well, with no issues or effort. I especially like that Computertalk are happy to offer the level of support to suit the customer, providing our preferred minimal support and training to our in-house support team to continue with the support after the system has been installed. We are looking forward to working with them again in the near future to implement the next stage of our IT development plan for server virtualization. I have every confidence that the system will be a success with their involvement and we will no doubt work with them on more projects in the future.

We have been working with Computertalk for just over a year now; we have been really impressed with their service and have just renewed our contract with them. They were happy to take over our existing system, with a few initial alterations and support us with this network. They wrote an excellent report about the current system and gave suggestions and options to improve and upgrade our network. What we have really appreciated are the various options that have been presented to us, with pros and cons discussed, as well as different pricing options, being considered. There has never been ‘a pushy sales pitch’, they have always listened to our needs and given us advice and choices based on those needs, as well as introducing us to services and products we had never heard of!
We have always had a very prompt and professional service from all of the staff at Computertalk, with staff willing to take the time to talk us through strategies, or coming into school, to find solutions to problems and even being very patient with us when the solutions were very simple! We now have a system that runs very effectively, with school staff so impressed by the speed of the network and the reliability of the equipment, but most of all, having ‘remote access’ and being able to work from home.

Firstly can i please say what a fantastic service we have received from Computer talk. I am so glad we went with you in the end, James was amazing doing the build and the set up, he never turned anyone away who had a question or problem - even to the point he helped one of the teachers reinstall her home printer on her rebuilt laptop and then even carried it out to her car! He even quietly put up with me and all of my queries!
Caroline and I have been very grateful to all of the support technicians who have answered our silly questions whilst we still get used to the new system and the start of the new term. Another school recommended Computertalk to us as we were looking to invest in ICT...and what a good recommendation it was! Over the past year the staff at Computertalk have assisted us in upgrading our ICT infrastructure, including the installation of wireless, interactive projectors across the school, a new server and migrating the whole school to Windoiws 7 and Office 2010 They have done a fantastic job and offered excellent, tailored advice and support along the way. All the staff, from management through to the technicians, have been knowledgeable, helpful, pro-active and patient. Emails are replied to promptly and there has been no waiting around at any stage in the process. Having bought in to their hands-on support package, we continue to work with Computertalk and find their fortnightly visits and the remote service they offer excellent. Their paperwork is thorough, from the detailed quotes to the log of work completed on each visit. We look forward to working with them on our continuing journey of ICT in our school.
